Baker Hughes Powers Next Wave of Venture Global’s LNG Expansion
Baker Hughes has secured significant orders to supply gas compression systems and modular liquefaction solutions for Venture Global's LNG expansion projects in Louisiana.
The energy technology giant will provide 13 gas compression systems driven by Frame 5/2E gas turbines for the Cloud Connector Pipeline project, supporting more than 100 million tonnes per annum of existing and planned LNG production capacity.
The order is one of the largest deployments for LNG feed gas transportation in the United States, enabling reliable and efficient transportation of feed gas through the Cloud Connector Pipeline to Venture Global's Plaquemines facility.
Baker Hughes will also provide four liquefaction blocks, comprising eight liquefaction modules, to support additional LNG production capacity at the Plaquemines LNG facility, including Chart cold boxes.
