Bangladesh Approves LNG Cargoes at Over $24 MMBtu for September Delivery

The Cabinet Committee on Government Purchase (CCGP) has approved a proposal to procure two liquefied natural gas (LNG) cargoes for delivery in September at prices exceeding $24 per million British thermal units (MMBtu).

The approval was given during a meeting held at the Secretariat, chaired by Finance Minister Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury.

According to the approved proposal, Posco International Corporation will supply one LNG cargo for delivery on September 13-14 at $24.625 per MMBtu.

TotalEnergies Gas & Power Ltd will provide another cargo for delivery on 23-24 September at $24.25 per MMBtu.
