Bangladesh Gold Price Surges Again by Tk 1,050 per Bhori
The gold price in Bangladesh has increased for the second time this week, with a rise of Tk 1,050 per bhori in 22-carat gold. According to the latest decision from the Bangladesh Jewellers Association (BAJUS), the new prices came into effect at 10am on Saturday, September 12.
The price of 22-carat gold now stands at Tk 232,930 per bhori, while 21-carat gold increased by Tk 1,050 to Tk 222,491 per bhori. The price of 18-carat gold rose by Tk 933 to Tk 191,056 per bhori.
The prices of silver jewellery remain unchanged. The BAJUS Standing Committee on Pricing and Price Monitoring Chairman Dr Dewan Aminul Islam Shaheen signed the notice announcing the latest price adjustment.
