Bangladesh Gold Prices Plummet as Jewelers Association Announces Reduction

The Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) announced a reduction in gold prices in the local bullion market on July 24, 2026. The new prices will take effect starting from that day.

According to the announcement, the price of 22-carat gold per bhori has been reduced by 3,324 taka, from 2,24,182 taka to 2,20,858 taka. Similarly, the price of 21-carat gold per bhori has been reduced by 3,150 taka, from 2,14,093 taka to 2,10,943 taka.

The prices for different weights of gold are also available on the live chart. For example, the unit price for 22-carat gold is 13,803.62 taka per ana.
