Bangladesh Gold Prices Plummet with BAJUS Rate Cut
The Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) announced a reduction in gold prices in the local bullion market on July 24, 2026. The new prices took effect immediately and are as follows:
22-carat gold per bhori has been reduced by 3,324 taka, from 2,24,182 taka to 2,20,858 taka.
21-carat gold per bhori has been reduced by 3,150 taka, from 2,14,093 taka to 2,10,943 taka.
18-carat gold per bhori has been reduced by 2,683 taka, from 1,83,883 taka to 1,81,200 taka.
