Bangladesh Gold Prices Soar as BAJUS Announces New Rates
The Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) announced an increase in gold prices on July 27, 2026. The new prices will take effect starting Monday, with the highest quality 22-carat gold increasing by 2,216 taka per bhori. This brings the price of 22-carat gold to BDT 2,23,074 for a 11.664 gram unit, up from its previous price of BDT 2,20,858.
The prices of other types of gold also saw an increase, with 21-carat gold rising by 2,100 taka per bhori to BDT 2,13,043, and 18-carat gold increasing by 1,750 taka per bhori to BDT 1,82,950.
The prices of silver in Bangladesh have also been updated, with 22 carat silver priced at BDT 4,841 per bhori, 21 carat silver priced at BDT 4,607 per bhori, and 18 carat silver priced at BDT 3,966 per bhori.
