Bangladesh Government Approves LNG Cargo Purchase from Aramco Trading Singapore
The Bangladesh government has approved a proposal to purchase one liquefied natural gas (LNG) cargo from Aramco Trading Singapore Pte. Ltd., under a government-to-government arrangement.
The Cabinet Committee on Government Purchase for the fiscal year 2026-27, chaired by Finance and Planning Minister Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury, made this decision at their eighth meeting held virtually today.
The committee approved the procurement of one LNG cargo with a quoted price of US$21.55 per MMBtu (million metric British thermal units) for delivery on August 11-12, 2026.
