Bangladesh LNG Terminal Resumes Supply After Three-Day Halt

The Excelerate Energy-operated floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) off Maheshkhali, Bangladesh has resumed liquefied natural gas (LNG) regasification and supply to the national grid after a three-day halt due to low inventories.

The FSRU, which is designed for 600 million cubic feet per day (mmcfd), started operations over the weekend with an initial supply of around 100 mmcfd. This will gradually increase, according to Petrobangla's Md Shoyeb.
