Bangladesh Raises Gold Prices Across All Categories
The Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) announced an increase in gold prices in the local bullion market on September 3, 2026. This change affects various types of gold, including 22-carat, 21-carat, and 18-carat.
According to the new price list, the cost of 22-carat gold per bhori (11.664 grams) has risen by Tk 5,482, from Tk 2,31,880 to Tk 2,37,362. Similarly, 21-carat gold per bhori now costs Tk 2,26,690, up from Tk 2,21,441.
The price of 18-carat gold has increased by Tk 4,491, reaching Tk 1,94,614. Traditional (Sonaton) gold has seen a rise of Tk 3,674, with the new price set at Tk 1,58,980 per bhori.
