Bangladesh Seeks LNG Lifeline from Malaysia Amid Gas Supply Crisis
Bangladesh has requested assistance from Malaysia to supply liquefied natural gas (LNG) due to its current gas supply challenges, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
Anwar revealed this in a Facebook post after a telephone conversation with Bangladesh Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on Tuesday.
The matter was discussed as part of efforts to strengthen Malaysia-Bangladesh ties, particularly in the energy and investment sectors for mutual benefit.
