Bank of Nova Scotia has acquired a new stake in Southern Copper Corporation (NYSE:SCCO) through its recent Form 13F filing. The firm purchased 10,124 shares of the basic materials company's stock, valued at approximately $1,777,000.
This is not the only institution to increase its stake in SCCO; several other investors have also added to their holdings. BlackRock Inc. acquired a new stake in Southern Copper in the second quarter valued at $1,729,500,000.
