Bear River Eyes Western Gas Storage Expansion Amid Growing Demand
Bear River Midstream is considering expanding its natural gas storage capacity to meet growing demand in Western markets, said CEO Scott Smith. In April, private equity firm I Squared Capital acquired Bear River's assets from utility Spire and formed the company.
The demand for natural gas storage has increased due to supply chain issues and a need seen for Western markets. The company has already expanded its Stallion and Salt Plains facilities.
