Bear River Midstream Eyes Additional Storage Capacity Amid Swelling Demand

Bear River Midstream's CEO Scott Smith has reiterated his company's commitment to expanding its natural gas storage assets, following a pledge made by private equity firm I Squared Capital in April when it acquired Bear River from utility Spire.

The announcement comes as demand for natural gas is expected to swell in the US. To meet this growing demand, Bear River has already expanded its facilities at Stallion and Salt Plains. However, supply chain issues are complicating the outlook, making further expansion a pressing need for Western markets.

With the increasing demand for natural gas, Bear River Midstream is now eyeing additional storage capacity to meet this growing requirement. The company's decision to expand its natural gas storage assets comes in response to private equity firm I Squared Capital's pledge in April to further develop the company's infrastructure.
