Bechtel Seeks More Workers for NextDecade's Rio Grande LNG Project
Bechtel, the engineering, procurement, and construction contractor for NextDecade's Rio Grande LNG project at the Port of Brownsville in Texas, is looking to hire more workers. Currently, around 6,500 employees are working on the site, but Bechtel needs additional staff to meet the demands of this massive liquefied natural gas export terminal project.
Bechtel representatives attended a recent 'Tools & Talent: Skilled Trades Job Fair' in Edinburg, where they spoke with potential candidates about the types of workers needed for the project. Monica Tellam Asti, community relations and communications manager for Bechtel, expressed satisfaction with the job fair's turnout.
