Beloved Canadian Immigrant Paul Poirier Passes Away at Age 81

Paul Poirier, a well-respected and kind-hearted man, passed away on August 26, 2015. Born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, he was the firstborn son of Lorenzo Poirier and Alice Laprise Poirier.

After high school, Paul traveled extensively throughout Canada, working for Mobil Oil and Canadian Pacific Railway before settling in the San Francisco Bay area in 1962.

He spent 35 years with Service Battery and Exide Corp, never returning to live in Canada. Paul was known for his generosity, compassion, and love of storytelling, good wine, and chocolates.
