Bhagyanagar India Posts Record Q1 FY27 Profit Surge on Strong Copper Demand
Bhagyanagar India Ltd., a Hyderabad-based copper products manufacturer, posted a remarkable Q1 FY27 performance. Net profit surged 167.50% year-on-year to ₹20.25 crores, marking the company's strongest quarterly showing to date.
The micro-cap non-ferrous metals player saw its stock rally 5.0% following the results announcement, closing at ₹418.05 on July 27, 2026. Revenue climbed 45.20% YoY to ₹705.08 crores while operating margins expanded to 5.43%, the highest level in recent quarters.
The company's shares have delivered a staggering 320.15% return over the past year, significantly outpacing the Sensex's negative 5.68% performance during the same period. Net profit margins expanded to 2.87% in Q1 FY27 from 1.56% in the year-ago quarter.
Bhagyanagar India's return ratios have shown marked improvement, with the latest ROE reaching 19.48%. The company demonstrated strong operating leverage, with PBDIT growing faster than revenue despite rising raw material costs in the copper market.
