BHM Share Price Plummets Amid Softer Silver Prices
Broken Hill Mines (ASX:BHM), a historic silver-lead-zinc producer, saw its shares plummet by 8.28% in a single session despite strong gains over the past year.
The company is working to revive production at the Rasp Mine and restart mining operations at the Pinnacles Mine in New South Wales' Broken Hill district.
Broken Hill Mines does not currently pay dividends, focusing on ramping up production as it invests in restarting and expanding its two key mines.
The company reported a record quarter for ore throughput at Rasp, with new high-grade silver-zinc-lead mineralisation identified at both project areas.
