Bitcoin and gold have seen massive inflows in recent weeks, with crypto funds netting $3.2 billion and gold attracting $7.3 billion during the week ending August 26.

This is the strongest weekly intake for both assets since October 2025, indicating growing institutional adoption as investors seek inflation hedges, dollar protection, and geopolitical safety.

The Bitcoin-focused IBIT drew a whopping $928 million after $1.3 billion the previous week, lifting crypto's four-week inflow average to $1.3 billion and gold's to $4.5 billion.
