Natural gas producer BKV (NYSE:BKV) reported strong Q2 CY2026 results, beating analysts' revenue expectations by 27.4% with sales up 44.6% year on year to $465.5 million.
The company's GAAP profit of $0.67 per share was significantly above consensus estimates, while its operating margin came in at 26.1%, down from 39.9% in the same quarter last year.
BKV's free cash flow margin was up 1.8 percentage points year on year to 4.9%, with oil production per day increasing by 27.3% year on year.
The company has managed its cost base well over the past five years, producing an average EBITDA margin of 34.9%, higher than the broader energy upstream and integrated energy sector.
