Ryan Blaney claimed his first Busch Light Pole Award at Iowa Speedway by beating Kyle Larson and Joey Logano in qualifying.

Blaney's lap time of 23.474 seconds, averaging 134.191 mph, was the fastest on Saturday. He edged Larson by just 0.018 seconds and Team Penske teammate Logano.

This pole marks Blaney's third of the season and 15th in his career. The win will give him a good starting position for Sunday's Iowa Corn 350 Powered by Ethanol.
