Boumadine Project Valuation Doubles to $3.5 Billion on Higher Metal Prices
Aya Gold & Silver has significantly increased the after-tax net present value of its Boumadine project in Morocco to $3.5 billion (C$4.8 billion). The company made this announcement without revealing any significant changes to the project's initial capital requirements, which rose only by a modest 4%.
The notable increase in the project's valuation is largely attributed to higher gold and silver prices. This uptick in metal prices has had a substantial impact on the Boumadine project's economics, thereby boosting its net present value.
