Braskem Extends Long-Term Gas Supply Contract with Petrobras
Braskem extended its long-term gas supply contract with Petrobras, which was set to expire on December 31, 2026. The amended deal will now run until December 31, 2029.
The new agreement covers natural gas volumes ranging from 300,000 cubic meters per day (m³/day) to 1,000,000 m³/day for the preferential supply of Braskem's facilities in Brazil or portfolio adjustments under a firm and non-flexible modality.
The estimated contract value after signing the amendment is BRL 1.85 billion (one billion, eight hundred and fifty million reais), reflecting the extended term and adjusted natural gas volumes.
