Brazil Corn Prices Remain Stable Amid Expectations of Future Price Increases

Brazil's corn market has seen stable prices in recent weeks, according to a report from Conab. The National Supply Company indicates that farmers have been holding onto grain, only selling to meet cash flow needs or contractual obligations.

This storage strategy aims to capitalize on expected seasonal price increases in the coming months. The second corn crop harvest has been completed in Mato Grosso, limiting supply from that state and supporting higher prices ahead.

Demand is projected to keep growing, and exports are expected to rise next month, which together should push prices upward, rewarding farmers for their storage decisions.
