Brent Crude Price Nears Three-Digit Levels Amid Saudi Aramco Attacks

Oil prices have been on the rise following attacks on Saudi Arabian facilities by Yemeni Iran-backed Houthi militants. The international benchmark Brent crude oil price rose 2.23% to $99.16 per barrel, while U.S. WTI crude oil prices increased by 3.26% to $94.46 per barrel.

The attacks disrupted operations at some facilities and resulted in more than 70 people being injured. The Saudi Arabian Ministry of Energy suspended operations and emergency services are working to contain the fires.

Goldman Sachs has raised its oil price forecasts for December 2026 by $5, predicting a price of $85 per barrel for Brent crude and $80 per barrel for WTI.
