Brent Crude Retreats from $100 as Traders Take Profits
The price of Brent crude has retreated from the $100 level, settling at 97.48 after a brief spike above this psychologically significant figure.
According to TradingView, Brent markets have pulled back from their recent high, which is not entirely unexpected given the rapid ascent throughout the week.
As one analyst noted, 'we just don't know what happens over the weekend,' and in such an uncertain environment, traders are seemingly opting for caution, flattening their positions and resetting for Monday's open.
