Brent Crude Soars Amid Escalating Middle East Conflict
Oil prices have been rising due to concerns over potential disruptions to global oil supplies as the Middle East conflict worsens. Brent crude futures have reached their highest level since late July, increasing by 0.35% to $97.34 a barrel. U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) also gained 1.26% to $92.63 a barrel.
The market is worried that escalating tensions in the region could further tighten global oil supplies, leading to higher prices. OPEC+ had previously kept Kazakhstan's October oil target unchanged, which may have contributed to these concerns.
