Brent Crude Surges Past $100 as Iran Tanker Strike Fears Mount
The Brent crude oil price has breached $100 per barrel due to growing fears of Middle East disruption.
This comes after the US announced on Tuesday that its forces had destroyed five Iranian tankers in the Gulf of Oman.
Benchmark crude prices have climbed following the incident, with Brent breaching $100 per barrel for the first time since 2014.
