Brent Crude Tumbles to Lowest Levels Since Last Week

Oil prices have experienced a significant decline, settling at their lowest levels in over a week. On Monday, Brent crude futures fell by US$8.42, representing an 8.7 percent decrease to settle at US$88.36 per barrel.

US West Texas Intermediate crude also dropped, down by US$6.70, or 7.5 percent, to US$82.61 per barrel. This significant decline in oil prices may have a ripple effect on the global economy and energy markets.
