Brent Edges Higher as US Crude Inventories Fall for Seventh Week
The Energy Information Administration's latest report on US commercial crude stocks shows that inventories fell by 2.1 million barrels for the week ending August 29, marking a seventh consecutive weekly draw.
This leaves stocks at 12.4 million barrels below the five-year seasonal average.
Brent crude rose to $91.45 on the news, while West Texas Intermediate added $0.63 to $87.20.
