Brunton's Autumn Lineup Brings Cinema, Comedy, and Live Music to East Lothian
The Brunton has announced an exciting lineup of events for East Lothian's autumn season. The Corn Exchange will be hosting a variety of entertainment, including a 'pay what you choose' cinema experience.
The regular programme of midweek movies starts in September and features films with ticket prices ranging from £3 to £10. On Wednesday, September 2, visitors can enjoy The Odyssey, starring Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, Tom Holland, and Zendaya.
The autumn film line-up also includes Tony, a biographical drama based on celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain's memoir Kitchen Confidential, Andrew Scott in Pressure, and French Film Festival title Lost Illusions. National Theatre Live screenings will bring West End theatre to local audiences, with The Misanthrope starring Sandra Oh being screened on Tuesday, September 22.
The Corn Exchange will also host live music performances, including Deiseil: Dancing In Time, a new show about Scotland's percussive dance tradition. The performance by dancer Alison Carlyle and musician Amy Geddes explores centuries of tradition through fiddle, feet, Gaelic song, and story.
