Bulgargaz Seeks 4.77% Gas Price Hike for September
Bulgargaz has proposed a significant increase in natural gas prices for September. The company is seeking to raise the price from EUR 39.43 per MWh to EUR 41.31, representing a hike of 4.77%.
This proposal comes as the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (EWRC) is set to hold a public discussion on the supplier's application. The EWRC will then make a final decision at a closed meeting.
The proposed price does not include various additional fees, such as access and transmission costs, excise duty, and VAT. However, it serves as an important benchmark for district heating companies, gas distribution firms, and industrial consumers in Bulgaria.
