Canada's Largest Oilfield Services Provider Emerges Through STEP-Sanjel Merger
Canadian oilfield services companies STEP Energy Services Ltd. and Sanjel Energy Services Inc. have completed their transaction to combine forces, creating one of Canada's largest oilfield services providers.
The merged entity will include Sanjel subsidiary Wayfinder Corp., a leading domestic proppant supplier operating the Big Molly sand mine and transloading facilities in Alberta.
According to CEO Steve Glanville, this transaction marks a significant milestone for STEP and their combined organization. He believes it will strengthen their ability to serve clients while positioning the company for long-term growth.
Murray Bickley, former Chief Executive Officer of Sanjel and now President of the combining organizations, emphasized that the focus remains firmly on people and clients. He stated that this strategic combination is built on strong operational foundations and shared values.
