Canada's LNG Exports Set for Significant Growth

A report from Norton Rose Fulbright predicts Canada's liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports will reach 45 million tonnes per year by 2030, up from current levels.

This is due to new projects in progress and those expected to take final investment decisions this year, which could lead to a total of 19 million tonnes of export capacity by 2030.

Business leaders at the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade Event expressed optimism about the industry's growth, with Calgary-based managing director Dane Gregoris stating that 'there could be roughly six more LNG-Canada-sized projects'.
