Canadian Grain Deliveries Soar as Wheat and Canola Lead the Way

The Canadian Grain Commission has released its weekly grain statistics report for the week ending August 9, 2026. According to the report, total producer deliveries reached 941.3 thousand tonnes, up from 508.2 thousand tonnes in the same week last year.

Wheat deliveries led at 381.1 thousand tonnes, followed by canola at 306.3 thousand tonnes. Terminal receipts for the week totaled 1,195 thousand tonnes, compared with 819 thousand tonnes a year earlier.

Exports from licensed facilities reached 1,023.5 thousand tonnes, up from 680.2 thousand tonnes in the corresponding week of the previous crop year. Wheat exports were 519.1 thousand tonnes, and canola exports were 231 thousand tonnes.
