Canola Corrects Lower Amid Weekend Profit-Taking
Canola futures dropped lower on July 24 as traders took profits before the weekend. The correction came after canola had reached three-year highs, according to a market update from Phil Franz-Warkentin of the Western Producer Markets Desk.
The decline was not limited to canola, however, with soyoil and wheat futures in Chicago also falling. On the other hand, soybeans were higher and corn prices remained relatively stable.
