Canola Futures Decline Amid Soy Complex Losses

Canola futures declined on Friday due to speculative profit-taking and losses in the Chicago soy complex. The soybean, corn, and wheat markets also suffered losses, with the largest decline seen in soybeans following a bearish reaction to updated USDA supply/demand estimates.

The losses were further exacerbated by a decrease in crude oil prices. Phil Franz-Warkentin of the Western Producer Markets Desk provided an update on the market, citing these factors as contributing to the downturn.
