ICE canola futures were steady to higher at the start of the week due to mixed sentiment in comparable oils. The market was affected by a deadline imposed on Iran and the US to reach a deal, which expired on Monday.

Crude oil prices were slightly higher, while Chicago soyoil rose nearly one US cent per pound. European rapeseed declined, but Malaysian palm oil trade was mixed.

The Canadian dollar gained one-tenth of a US cent compared to the previous Friday's close.
