Canola Prices Tumble Amid Profit-Taking and Favorable Weather
Canola futures took a step back on Wednesday, giving up some of the gains from the previous day due to profit-taking by speculators. This trend was also observed in soybean, corn, and wheat futures in the US market. The relatively favorable weather conditions in the Midwestern region added to the bearish tone in the market.
The increase in crude oil prices provided some support to the market, but it was not enough to offset the negative sentiment caused by the profit-taking.
