Capital Clean Energy Carriers Corp. Posts Strong Q2 Financials Amid Market Volatility
Capital Clean Energy Carriers Corp., an international owner of ocean-going vessels, has released its financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2026. The company took delivery of two Liquefied Natural Gas Carriers and one Handy Liquefied CO2 Multi-Gas Carrier during this period.
Additionally, Capital Clean Energy Carriers Corp. agreed to divest a 49% stake in the LNG/C Amore Mio I and formed a joint venture company with an affiliate of BGN Group. The company secured a 10-year time charter for its LNG/C Amore Mio I vessel.
Capital Clean Energy Carriers Corp. also announced a joint venture for the construction and operation of a dual-fuel Liquefied Natural Gas Bunkering Vessel with CMA CGM S.A. The company secured index-linked employment for its LNG/C Alcaios I vessel for 18 months.
In terms of financials, Capital Clean Energy Carriers Corp. declared a dividend of $0.15 per share for the second quarter of 2026 and commenced a share repurchase program for up to $20.0 million. According to Jerry Kalogiratos, Chief Executive Officer of CCEC, 'The volatility experienced in the second quarter of 2026 in gas shipping markets allowed us to capture additional contract coverage at attractive rates.'
