Capstone Copper's shares have broken above A$14 after a solid year of gains. The recent bounce has been driven by record second-quarter earnings, visible brownfield expansion, and a supportive copper price backdrop.

The company's second-quarter results showed record revenue of US$739.7 million versus US$543.2 million a year earlier, driven by higher realized copper, gold, and silver prices. Adjusted EBITDA of US$354 million marked the seventh consecutive quarterly record, reinforcing a narrative of operational momentum.

Contained copper production of 51,759 tonnes in the quarter included a record 18,190 tonnes from Mantoverde sulphides, with throughput running roughly 13 percent above design capacity. The company's management has left its 2026 copper production guidance unchanged despite input cost pressures, indicating confidence in its ability to absorb macro headwinds.
