Capstone Copper's share price has bounced back after releasing its second-quarter earnings results. The company reported record revenue of US$739.7 million, a 36% year-on-year increase, driven by a copper price of US$6.22 per pound compared to US$4.39 in the same period last year.

The realized copper price was the single biggest driver of the revenue and EBITDA records, with average LME copper prices in the second quarter up 40% from the same period in 2025.

Capstone Copper's net income attributable to shareholders rose to US$74.3 million, or US$0.10 per share, from US$24.0 million a year earlier. Adjusted EBITDA hit a record US$354 million, marking the seventh consecutive quarter of record earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization.

The company's debt reduction efforts are also notable, with net debt falling sharply to US$674.9 million from US$780.1 million at year-end 2025, leaving it with total liquidity above US$1.08 billion.
