Casper Gas Prices Tumble as Global Fuel Markets Remain Volatile
Casper gas prices have declined over the past week, dropping to an average of $4.27 per gallon, according to AAA data. This represents a 5-cent decrease from the previous week's average price in Natrona County. The statewide average in Wyoming has also decreased by 4 cents to $4.34 per gallon.
The national average for gas prices dropped by 3.2 cents over the last week, reaching an average of $4.01 per gallon, according to GasBuddy data. Meanwhile, the national average price for diesel fell by 1.4 cents to $5.57 per gallon.
Patrick De Haan, head of petroleum analysis at GasBuddy, warns that gas prices may continue to be volatile due to ongoing developments between the U.S. and Iran and continued Ukrainian attacks on Russian oil refineries. These factors are exerting significant influence on global fuel markets.
