CBOT Wheat Futures Poised for Lower Open Amid Black Sea Tensions
The Chicago Board of Trade is bracing for lower wheat futures when trading resumes at 8:30am CDT on Wednesday.
This comes after CBOT wheat reached its highest level since February 2023, only to pull back.
The market has rallied due to escalating attacks in the Black Sea region, disrupting Russian and Ukrainian grain exports.
Russia's foreign minister stated there are 'no grounds' to resume a deal allowing safe export of Ukrainian grain via the Black Sea.
