Central Banks' Gold Buying Spurs Interest in Precious Metals Mining Stocks
Gold mining stocks are gaining attention as central banks shift their reserves from U.S. Treasuries to physical gold, boosting interest in precious metals.
The move has investors reassessing how to position themselves around this shift, and three companies stand out: K92 Mining (TSX:KNT), OceanaGold (TSX:OGC), and Endeavour Mining (TSX:EDV).
K92 Mining generates about US$686.9 million in revenue from its Kainantu Project in Papua New Guinea, providing direct exposure to physical gold.
OceanaGold provides similar exposure through its mines in the United States, the Philippines, and New Zealand, with a market cap of CA$7.75 billion.
Endeavour Mining stands out due to its sizeable West African production and clear growth pipeline, including the Assafou Tier 1 project and expansion work at Sabodala Massawa.
