Chandler Gas Prices Rise to $4.37 Per Gallon Amid Crude Oil Spike
Gas prices in the Chandler area have risen significantly, following a statewide increase of 25 cents to $4.37 per gallon as of July 23.
The spike is attributed to rising crude oil prices, which have reached the $90 per barrel range due to volatility along the Strait of Hormuz and regional instability, according to Aldo Vazquez, spokesperson for AAA Mountain West Group.
Despite the hike, some gas stations in Chandler remain more affordable than others. As of July 25, the 76 station at 2025 E. Chandler Blvd. offered the cheapest non-club price for 87 octane gasoline at $4.23 per gallon, down from $3.97 on July 17.
