Chengtun Mining Share Price Declines Amid Strong First Half Performance
Chengtun Mining's share price declined by 5.03% to 10.2 yuan per share on July 30, despite a strong performance in the first half of 2026.
The company reported a net profit attributable to shareholders of 1.804 billion yuan, up 71.37% year-over-year (YoY), with total operating revenue reaching 19.264 billion yuan, a 39.56% increase YoY.
Chengtun Mining's core business focused on energy metal resources, including copper, nickel, cobalt, and gold, with stable output from its DRC copper-cobalt segment in H1 2026.
The company delivered stable production at its Dali Sanxin mine, which advanced mine construction to achieve trial production by Q4. The Kalongwe project also showed progress in optimizing the production system and engineering construction.
