Chennai Gold Price Drops for Second Straight Day by Rs 480

The price of gold in Chennai decreased by Rs 480 per sovereign on July 29, making it the second consecutive day for a drop. The current price is Rs 1,05,240 per sovereign and Rs 13,155 per gram.

On July 28, the price was at Rs 1,05,720 per sovereign after falling by Rs 1,240. The gram rate decreased to Rs 13,215 from Rs 13,370 previously.

Silver prices remained unchanged on both days, selling for Rs 235 per gram (Rs 2,35,000 per kg).
