Chennai Gold Price Hits New High

Chennai's gold prices continued their upward trend on July 31, 2026. The Madras Jewellers & Diamond Traders Association (MJDTA) reported a morning rate of ₹13,255 per gram for 22-carat gold, an increase of ₹25 from the previous day.

The price of 18-carat gold also rose by ₹25 to ₹11,070 per gram. In contrast, silver prices remained unchanged at ₹235 per gram.

Compared to July 29, 22K gold has increased by ₹100 per gram over the two-day period.
