Gold prices in Chennai increased on Monday, August 3, 2026, according to the Madras Jewellers & Diamond Traders Association (MJDTA). The price of 22-carat gold rose by ₹30 per gram from ₹13,220 to ₹13,250. Similarly, 18-carat gold also gained ₹30 per gram, increasing from ₹11,035 to ₹11,065.

The silver rate in Chennai remained steady at ₹235 per gram, showing no change from the previous trading session.
