Chennai Gold Prices Hold Steady, No Change for Third Day
Gold prices in Chennai remained unchanged on August 7, 2026, according to the latest morning rates from the Madras Jewellers & Diamond Traders Association (MJDTA). The association's update showed that both 22-carat and 18-carat gold prices held steady after Thursday's sharp rally. The 22K gold rate continues to trade at ₹13,750 per gram, with no change compared to the previous trading session.
The 18K gold price also remained stable at ₹11,565 per gram, showing no increase or decrease. Similarly, silver prices in Chennai are unchanged at ₹250 per gram, maintaining the level reached in the previous session.
